His years in the department gave him first-hand knowledge of how government departments function, their hierarchies and their procedures. He was closely involved in framing Government Orders, which informs his understanding of how service rules are applied in practice and how they are challenged.

He began practice in 2008, immediately after retirement, and has handled service matters for nearly two decades, from the Andhra Pradesh Administrative Tribunal to the High Courts. He also advises government employees on service rules and related litigation.
